awesome. Thank you. I have another question. a pic of the wall in my bathroom is attached. my installer indicated that it would be very difficult to get rid of the texture. what are your thoughts on just painting it a greyish color and leaving it considering my new furniture?

The texture doesn't bother me at all. Sort of interesting.

Admittedly, paint recommendations aren't my primary focus, but I feel like it'd be fine to just paint it a different color and leave it as is! Try that and see how you feel. If you really truly can't stand the texture after a while of living with it in a new hue, then you can revisit the idea of removing it.

Definitely go with LED, which are dimmable. I have Kovacs tubes and they put out great light.
