The vine was given to me by a friend who owns an Italian restaurant. It finally bloomed for me, mid-December in south central Texas. It will normally freeze to the ground, but come back each year. I have been protecting it in a pot, however, to ground plant in spring. It gave me one lovely purple bloom 2 days ago. My friend cant remember the name. Hope someone can help.
