We just purchased a new bathroom vanity that is 34.5" and I love it. Our realtor mentioned it's considered more modern to go with 34" and above. I think 36" would be fine, especially if you are taller.

Does this 34.5" height include the countertop? Thanks for your input - I left this decision to the last minute & have to get it ordered very soon.

Actually, it did not! That's a good point... So with the countertop, mine is actually probably right around 36" then, and it's a great height. My husband and I are both 5'8", and it's very comfortable.

Go 36” for sure
