I just went to a Norwex party today. Never even heard of them before.

Did you ever learn to love your mop? I didn't buy the mop, but I did order some of the cleaning cloths. They seem pretty cool. I don't use many chemicals, mostly soap and water but with these I won't need any chemicals.

Not sure if you learned this already, but you can wash Norwex microfiber with other things they just have to be washed in a "free and clear" detergent either Norwex brand or Tide, etc. I did buy their detergent because I have been wanting something with less chemicals in it. I hope it actually cleans.

I also bought the cleaning mitt and the bathroom cleaner. Soap scum in the shower is something I seem to always be fighting. I used something with bleach last time, and I could barely breath. I even had the Windows open. I had to find a better way.

Anyway, just reviving this older thread to see what others experience has been with Norwex. I am really hoping I love it!

I have other Norwex products that I like and use .. although I think they are horrendously over priced. I've tried to like this mop, but just don't like it at all. Maybe other versions of the mop are better, I really can't say.

The one they had at the party sounds a little different. It had Velcro on one side and she offset the handle attachment so one side of the mop could go along the edge of the floor and wall. It had two different cleaning pads. One was a dry microfiber cloth that you "swept" with first. It seemed like a pain. I would rather run my vacuum to get up the hair and crumbs and then mop.

Those who had that mop seemed to love it. I hate every mop I buy... Pretty sure it's just me. I really hate mopping :)

Yep. That is the one she had. Everyone seemed to love it. I think I have way too much dog hair for that. I use my Roomba every single day! I also hear the runner brush is good for lots of other stuff too.

anyone have the velcro strips come off from the mop base? can this be fixed? the company wasn't sympathetic to my needs :(

bossbunny - did they ever fix your Velcro? I clean houses. I've got a few Norwex rags, but only because I didn't want to offend friends who had parties by not ordering anything. Norwex is an MLM company - so by definition it's all overpriced. I am currently using a Bona mop and for the price ($20) I'm very please with it. For what it's worth - I've been cleaning for 30 years, so I've used a lot of mops.

mrmitchell347, NO, VERY disappointed with them :( (what would it have cost them to not have negative feedback about out there?) I remember telling another big company about an issue that they were not willing to help with and told them when their company goes belly up, look back to incidences like mine...and they are no longer in business!! Thanks for the tip. I will look into the Bona mop!

Can someone tell me why the mop base flips? How hard is it to do a figure 8? Is it me??

Oh my gosh, no! I hate the mop base constantly flipping and putting dents in my hardwood floors when I try to do the figure 8 with any pressure at all! And the mop doesn’t have a home in the top knob so that you can hang it from a hook. The pads are great, but not the mop.

I just got mine. I was so excited. But... it doesn’t stay locked in place, when it does lock I have had the base flip on me also when I do the figure 8 it come unlocked. It won’t hang from my counter. I have noticed the removed the rubber like what my sisters has. Which it what let’s hers grip the counter. I have reached out to the consultant and hope the can make it right. But overall so far not impressed since I already went back to my swiffer.

The pad with the nylon for mopping tile floors is a pathetic over-priced product. Does not clean down in the grout at all. Just skims right over it. So back on my knees I go! Thanks for tricking me Norwex.

No I hate it for the same reasons

I hate this mop. It just keeps flipping over when i use it wet. I'm afraid of scratching & damage to my hardwood floors.

I have tried the spray attachment—in fact, Ive tried three of them, and cant get them to actually spray. Yes, I‘m holding the handle at 90 degrees to the floor, pumping the handle straight up and down, following all the steps in the videos. Plenty of liquid IS coming out of the bottle, but not the spray hole. Anyone else have this problem? i really wanted to like this system but for the price, the spray attachment has been a huge disappointment!
