I am not sure that chandelier is the right kind for the space. I would try to find a chandelier that hangs down nicely. It would fill up that space from the direction we're looking at.

Consider an rectangular mirror. What is on the opposite wall?

Or you could paint each brick the reclaim would look. That would at color.

I agree that you need to continue the industrial vibe your light adds. add the mirror or find a metal salvage piece to place between the bricks..change your throw pillows to a very heavy textured fabric. if you are a handy DIYer I could even visualize the area between bricks with rustic boards and old gear wheels overlapping in a design.

Don't change a thing!!! The table, the chandelier, it's all perfect! Maybe when wreath comes down hang a big platter or something. Something round or a few smaller oval platters...

I like both industrial and rustic decor. So yes these decor suggestions are perfect. The brick frame will eventually come down, but that's a project for the future.

There is nothing on the opposite wall just yet. It's bare. There is not enough space for a furniture piece. I would have liked to use a sideboard there but it does not fit. Perhaps we could have gone with a smaller table, but both our families are big and we love to entertain. Therefore I am considering floating distressed shelves. Not completely sure yet though.

You could paint the inner area a dark color, perhaps charcoal. Add something dimensional that you could change out with seasonal.

I would embrace the brick frame and fill in it with horizontal reclaimed wood, to give you even more of the industrial vibe you are striving for.

It looks nice as it is, you do not have to do much to it. I would suggest maybe making it a bit warmer, you could add anything that would be a warm color, such as yellow, you can decorate with candles. You could put white cushions on the chairs.. Just a few minor things. but it looks nice already!

I love the idea of filling up the space with reclaimed wood! I had originally considered doing that but my fiancé has a hard time envisioning things and isn't too crazy about the idea. He makes decorating more complicated lol

Why not just keep swapping out the wreath? I love the way it looks for the holidays. And the change would keep it fresh. Do floral wreaths in the spring and summer, and harvest in the fall, etc. you could do one a month or just seasonal.

Love it. I would do the custom mirror AND hang seasonal wreaths with a ribbon when desired.
