My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What stain/color is used on the cabinets and what are they made of?

    denisemford - The wood I chose was knotty Alder, which has lots of visible rustic knots, and details. The stain is a bit complicated. It is a charcoal stain, then very lightly sanded, and coated with a very lightly brown tinted laquer and then a clear laquer.
