Didn't they just release those earlier this year? We have looked at them for consideration in our remodel.

The title I selected for the thread was perhaps misleading: I am interested in an open burner version of the Miele rangetop, rather than the sealed burner version that is now on the market. I heard from someone affiliated with Miele that they are going to have an open burner version released into the US market, but there was no sense of an ETA, nor was there any knowledge of specs.

When Miele announces something for the U.S. market, it invariably takes five to ten years to actually go on sale.

So if you need it next year _ better chose something else.
