I am totally lost now , what happened to the newsletters ?

I don't like having to click "stories" every time. I hate all the clutter on the home page now. It's too much stuff.

My ideabook is totally gone. How can I get to all those pics I saved? We are in the process of building a new home, and I can't find any of the ideas I'd saved. I do NOT like the new format!

@mcnaiser I'm seeing 12 ideabooks on your profile. If you visit your profile are you finding the one you are looking for there?

So we've lost the large picture format, lost ability to just view without signing in (until we wanted to do something), and now, the pictures on homepage scroll through so fast! And with no control to go forward or back manually, we cannot stop to study, look again. As apriltini says, too much clutter on home page. Certainly is not My Houzz anymore. If I cannot use easily without unwanted stuff and distractions, no good reason to return.

@Emily Hurley Random question, how do you report, flag someone to let Houzz team know someone is being inappropriate, disruptive?

Hi there, You can flag comments in the upper right corner of any post and it will be reported to our team to look at. Look for the tiny flag icon. :)

@EmilyHurley I can't seem to see any flag in the right hand corner. I'm using a tablet, does that have a different format than computer version? I have the Houzz version 16.1.0

I am redoing a contemporary bathroom and wondering if
I should put molding around the windows that match the
modeling in the bedroom. Right now there is no molding
and I am questioning whether I need molding. The bathroom is rather small so I don't want the molding to be overpowering.

Totally agree on the home page stuff, I notice they started doing it in the U.S first if you went to that home page. Now in Oz. Home page now just a big clutter of stuff and pics. Bring back the old format of the big pics up top and the stories, it was so much more navigable and attractive. I'll be heading elsewhere now I think...

I can no longer access photos according to type ie exterior, room types etc. When I go to the photo tab it now only shows "Rooms" with living, dining, sunroom and family room. I've cleared searches, shut down and restarted with no success. Anyone else having this problem? I'm using an iPad.

NOW what have they done with the stories? There is no longer a stories link in the header. I like to look at all the pictures of one house at the same time, while reading the story. Am I just out of luck?

I can still find stories..it drops down when I type in words..but I think everything has become so homogenized and commercial. The ideas and stories lack originality. I think they are just trying to sell products that are hip and trendy now.

When I used to search for ideas..lots of different and unusual things came up..a thing of the past now. ..Just boring...white gray beige. Even something like Boho..boring!
