Grounding

last modified: 10 years ago

My wife got me a metal weather vane for my shed for Christmas

The 10' X12' shed is on skids with cement blocks for support. The shed is built on a 2x6 and plywood base, with 2X4 and plywood sides and roof and asphalt shingles. The weather vane will be about 2' above the roof and about 14' above the ground.
The shed is on the edge of a open yard with tall pine and sweet gum around it and on the opposite side. Closest about 15' from the shed.

Will this metal weather vane need to be grounded?
