I've got this plant in the Spring time and it started blooming a week ago. I didn't touch it, so there was no cold. It's sits in my office.

How can I check on mites? I am not experienced orchid grower.

No, I am watering my plants in time.

Looks like bud blast to me. Although the photo at the link does not appear to be the same type of damage as your plant has experienced, I thought the information might be useful. When I see blasted phals, it does look like the damaged flowers in your photo. (ETA: As the link shows, there a lot of causes. But maybe you can relate what happened to your plant to one of them.)

You need to provide more information. Where is this plant living? What zone are you in? What are the growing conditions (light, temperature? ).

If your plant is growing inside an office the air might be too dry (AC or heat). This is the most likely cause of bud blast. Did you fertilize the plant?

The buds appear dehydrated. If you office has heat running, that could be the cause.

I am in OH. The plant is in my office on the top of compartment - no kids, no pets that can damage my plant. It's safe, look healthy and gets water regularly. I did not fertilize the plant. I tested for the bugs and the paper is clean. So, I don't know what's wrong with the plant. Maybe I should mist it every day?

No, it's not.

I'm also guessing it's a humidity issue. I have had buds blast from lack of humidity. I would mist if possible and also put the pot in a tray/dish with pebbles and water. Or put the whole thing in a large, tall glass vase (like a terrarium) which will hold the humidity better.

Mine blasted from a sudden spike in temp and a sudden loss of humidity...They seem to hate very warm temps by day...Dry heat that is. Mine love cool night temps too and one night the temps stayed way too warm.

When I have experienced bud blast it is mostly related to humdity issues. You could try a humidity tray since yiu are in the office. I would try Suzabanana's advice. I grow indoors in Ohio. Maintaining decent humidity is a struggle in the winter.
