Silly question, maybe, but with the exception of the beans I will be growing in 2016, most of my bean seed is being stored in the freezer, eventually all seed not grown in the following year will be stored this way. Some are in glass jars on their own but I have a lot of samples in small zip locks stored together in large glass jars. I know when removing from the freezer not to open the jars until the next day, let them warm up to room temperature first but what about these samples? Is it safe to open these jars while still in the freezer to remove one or two packets (of course not opening those until the next day) screw the lid back on or should I take the jar out of the freezer, let it warm up before removing the packets I want and then return it to the freezer? Eventually each variety will have a jar of it's own but it takes awhile to collect the right sized jars :).
