Help...will my garlic survive like this?

Looking for advice...

It's December 27th, it's 60 degrees and Pittsburgh has yet to have any measurable snow... or even an extended cold period for that matter. To say the least, this is not ordinary. See the picture I attached, I planted this garlic on October 31. The image shows you the garlic bed, as it is today, with 6 inches of yard waste mulch covering the plantings. I'm pretty sure it should not be up this high, with the lion's share of winter still ahead. Although we might not see it this year, winter temps routinely go well below 0 and can stay there for weeks in this part of the northeast.

My question is this...will this garlic survive a deep freeze (that is surely coming), or must I take measures to protect it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
