My daughter and I each placed an order; mine on 12/28 and hers on 12/29.

My order still shows in stock and reserved but not shipped. Hope their inventory reserve system is accurate - I can wait for the order but would like to get it at some point.

I got the free shipping since i passed the minimum. The order confirmation came immediately (Jan 4) and I'll watch how long it takes to get the shipping confirmation and report back. I had to wait until late evening to get the website to work for me.

Wendy, me too: the later-placed order has shipped. Oddly, the first-placed order hasn't been billed to my CC yet.

I placed 4 orders (I kept finding more I "needed"). Of those 4, only one containing a single item has shipped. The others all say "in stock and reserved." I was charged for my order after it shipped. I'd called to try to add something to one of my orders and was told it was out of stock even though it said online it was in stock. A few days later it still appeared as in stock online so I called again and was told that it was, in fact, available. At this point I'm not quite sure what from my orders will arrive!

I wound up grabbing a few bargains despite being a little leery about the business closing. I ordered on Dec. 29th and all my items are reserved. None shipped yet.

FYI--I just got an email from Chef's Catalog that the item I ordered on 12/28 has shipped.

First larger order has not shipped. Second smaller order was shipped and is now received. Ordered the 28th, shipped the 30th, received today

I got an email today that one item from one order has shipped.

Mine is reserved and in stock --- BUT -- the most expensive item is now $20 less than I paid a few days ago when I ordered! Guess the prices will continue to drop until everything is sold.

Just noticed this thread. Just ordered an induction-ready cast iron enameled dutch oven and three mini cocettes also cast iron/induction. Staub was the manufacturer. The price was way lower than at Amazon for the same items. I am moving to induction in my current build and wasn't looking forward to some of the re-buying of cooking supplies for the cooktop portion.

Also got a meatloaf pan with underlying drainer.

I don't need any of these things for awhile -- just so long as I get them eventually!!!

I was tempted by the ice cream maker but 1) I hesitate to buy anything electric that may need to be returned and 2) how often do I eat ice cream, anyway???

Yes, things are a bit picked over, there. But up to 90% off -- actually not that much if you look on Amazon for comparables but still many things are quite good.

Edit: I couldn't order using Chrome, had to use IE. (Reverse on how I have to post photos on this site -- no IE, but Chrome works.)

Artemis... I placed my order last week, but I didn't look at the ice cream makers. I just looked though, and someone must have read your comment and scooped it up. No more ice cream makers. :-((

wondering if its worth ordering the kitchen towels?? 8 for $20, they only come in white and they are saying they are backordered... i could call and see...anybody have them??

My order from Dec 28th shows 'in stock and reserved' still, no shipping email rec'd.

Don't get anything that's back ordered. It means they're out. They will be shitting down the site and stop taking orders around the 15th as they estimate that they will be out of inventory by then.

If they don't get mine out soon, I'm going to cancel it. Nothing I can't live without.

just called to see what's up and was told the orders placed Dec 28-30th are now being processed and should ship by the end of the week!! they are shutting down on the 18th but she wasn't sure about the website. she did say that they are down to bare bones with their name-brand items and are waiting to see if other manufacturers are going to reduce their prices. I'm waiting to see if they reduce they ant-fatigue mats., the one i want is pricey, around $200, would love to save $$ on that....

All my stuff ordered on Dec. 29th is still reserved, except a set of measuring cups, which are not in stock anymore. Ack!

I made orders on 12/28, 29, and 30. The 30 shipped and was delivered. The ones prior to that have not shipped. I did not receive a shipping confirmation on the shipped items. They showed up and I got a shipping notice that night. Ha.

My order was also placed on the 28th so I called to check status since i haven't heard anything. Told the 'paperwork is at the warehouse' and it should ship tomorrow or Thurs.

Was also told the 28th was the single busiest day in the history of the company - over 11,000 orders placed. I think we broke them!

Lol, DLM. I was told they have 3 shifts of workers working to complete the orders. The lady said the warehouse workers weren't very happy about the mass ordering.

thank you vpierce! i wish i saw this thread earlier! but maybe it is better for the pocketbook to go through all the picked-thru items, lol.. but just FYI, deals are still to be had!! some meatball tongs were sold out just as i checked out, but i still managed to get a cute Staub cast iron tomato pot for 50% off amazon prices, and this stuff NEVER goes on sale! DH gave me a weird look as he overheard me talking to myself saying, "i want it! i want it! lol..

I ordered the meatball tongs, kitchen timer, basting set, and carving set on the 29th but haven't received anything yet. No shipping confirmation either - just an order confirmation.

When I check the order status online all items just show as in stock and reserved.

I placed 3 separate orders on the 28th. I got shipping notices for one on Monday and one yesterday. Haven't heard about the 3rd one yet, but I do think they must be slowly working through the backlog.

Well, heck. I ordered three items on the 28th and just received an email yesterday that two have been shipped but the third item is out of stock. It was the Frieling french press for a very good price, in stock when I placed my order. Boo. :(

My order was placed on the 29th. When I spoke with them yesterday they assured me that they were packing up items purchased on the 28th. Mine should be done this week. They close for good on Monday, so get back in there if you want anything else. Interesting to know that they are owned by Target. I wouldn't have guessed that. I scored a Maslin pan for only $25. I picked up some bistro forks and a couple of oil cans. I have a lot of Le Creuset and didn't find loads of items that I felt were a low enough price to justify the purchase. I get discount coupons from Le Creuset outlet, Sur La Table and Wms Sonoma which work for me.

My friend and I ordered the same pan on January 4 -- I was first. He got his today, but my order hasn't arrived. But, I had other items, too.

My stuff finally came in yesterday. I must say that I'm pleased with everything, although it took it's sweet time getting here.

I'm getting concerned about mine. My friend got his Staub pan (same one I ordered before him). I hope they don't suddenly send me an email saying it's gone. They're still showing my stuff as in stock and ready to ship. Sigh

I didn't realized the flour sack towels would be SO thin....like cheesecloth.

I ordered on the 29th and received a shipping estimate almost immediately. They charged my cc on Monday so I was getting antsy. They have shipped my order, and I should get it tomorrow.

I was wanting to buy some Staub, but we're going to start building this Spring besides I already have two big enameled dutch ovens. I did get two long hot pads which are badly needed, a boning knife, a set of stainless mixing bowls (I bake a lot and my other set are my favorite mixing bowls), and a set of cheese spreaders. I know cheese spreaders but every year when the holidays roll around, and I see them out I think I want those. Then the holidays pass and I forget again.

My items arrived yesterday, too.

I received the second of my orders, the little funnels, wooden knife holders to go in drawers, and a cherry pitter I've wanted every May for the past decade (my sister's farm grows ten varieties). Woohoo! I have shipping notices for the other order, but it seems to be coming in multiple shipments. That's the one with the bigger heavier frying and sauté pans. Can't wait!

My orders from the 28th have been arriving in dribs and drabs. I'm still missing half of the items and I think they shipped one box to the wrong address as our post office called about some humongous box directed to our P O Box.

Everything I've received so far have been great qualities and I'm happy with them and the prices.

Mine arrived last Wednesday. Missing one item, sold out, received a refund.

Opened my goodies finally. I'm very impressed with the quality of everything.

I have to looking into whether or not I've been refunded for the measuring cups that were out of stock by the time they filled my order.

I received the last of my items earlier this week. Two separate orders, three shipments, and I received everything ordered. Wish it wouldn't have been right after Christmas or I would have splurged even more! :)
