with the black and white wires, I suspect this is low voltage DC. however, I don't see where the description mentions a transformer/rectifier driver for this product. what's up?

I want to add undercabinet lighting to my kitchen. It is an L shape. On one wall I have cabinets on either side of a exposed stove hood and a window. How do we install these lights with this type of set up.
