It would be my opinion that if the inflo were damaging to a dormant plant, the plant would drop it.

I can understand removing an inflo from a rooting plant, but I'll trust the plant to make the decision in this case.

I agree with Jedoba.. Only on rooting cuttings would I cut off the inflo.

Sounds like those trees aren't fully dormant if they are pushing ..

Reminds me of pics of Thailand in the rainy season where trees have no leafs but lots of inflos.

If I cut off my inflos in winter, I'd hardly have any bloom in summer. Defeats the purpose. No, this is natural to leave them on - especially for an established plant. Maybe only for a very small plant, cutting them off might help them get established. But I've never done it.
