I would move the love seat and the chairs in a bit and add a really large coffee table and accessorize well with mazagines and a bowl, etc. You need the lamps to be larger and the same height, even if you have to add books under one. Or you could move one table in between the single chairs and add a floor lamp on one end of the couch. Adding rolled pillows on the chairs and a few to match on the couches would help as well. Space just needs warming up and some scale adjustments.

I like those chairs but they are so formal for a family room and the sofas are so casual. The same with the coffee table, too formal and dainty. I agree a big square one would be better. Maybe a big oversize comfy chair in a pattern with some colour or if you need seating, two smaller but casually comfortable chairs. The room needs colourful art and more than one giant one, perhaps two or three smaller, not small, just smaller than this one. Thats my two cents. Have fun.

I agree with the previous comments. Your existing coffees table is not to scale with you sofa/loveseat/chairs. I would add a large round or square coffee table for balance. For added contrast and color I would recommend a large round ottoman in a fabric to break up the leather. I would also suggest an area rug with a pattern to add texture and color. Hope that helps!
