Wrong Counter/ Appliance choices?

So countertops were finally installed. They looked great without appliances, but I feel like the appliances take away from the clean sleek look I was trying to achieve. I also think a white quartz countertop would have been best. I like to use color for a pop to neutrals. I conceded because it seemed like it was going to be too much white.
Now I am trying to decide how to maximize that sleek clean kind of breachy look. I am thinking in of painting out that accent wall white to match the kitchen and hopefully blend in. Maybe at least a much lighter gray. The backsplash is another choice I need to get right. I am thinking a marble chevron but that doesn't feel quite right. My husband like the ogee white tile, but that feel too retro. Pleas share your ideas! Never mind the flowers, that was my birthday bouquet! My wonderful hubby spent the day restoring the vaulted wood ceiling for me. And with a sore back still managed to pamper me! Married Life is the best!!

It does look great! I would also choose the chevron tile back splash. Once you get other things in place it will come to life more with color. Good job!

It looks great. I think you are over thinking things. Wait till its all done including accessories, window treatment, rug etc. I like the marble chevron over the other. The chevron will help blend the white a gray

Thank you for the encouragement. I have not settled on the backsplash. I am also considering a subway marble or glass tiles. My concern with glass is that the clear often loon green once installed and I definitely want a lighter color. Also should I paint that accent wall a lighter color to blend more to make the kitchen look wider?

Love the look...chevron backsplash would be awesome! It definitely needs some pops of color...maybe an accent wall on whichever wall you can see from the entrance? Not sure how far that window wall runs but seems like a good candidate for an accent wall with a poppin' window treatment.

Just asking. If you wanted a sleek look for your white kitchen, why didn't you buy white appliances?

I realize I'm in the minority, but I have never felt the need for the SS appliances. I bought white for our stained maple kitchen.

I LOVE the chevron look; it blends in more texture, while keeping within the same color family. I would keep the accent wall, since it matches well with the countertops, but if you want to add in more color you can add in rugs, window treatments, or a mixer in a complimentary shade. I also love the SS appliances -- white appliances look cheaper, and would blend too much if you decide to paint the accent wall white. Good luck!
