Lovely room. It would be difficult to have fabric on the right due to the phone & light switches. Do you have enough room on the left for the stack back for a treatment that covers the entire door?

Thank you for your input and compliment. I appreciate it. I have about 2 1/2 - 3 feet on the left side of the window for a stack back. Would the rod go above the traverse window on top? I didn't know if that would look good.

Yes, it should go above the transom window otherwise it would cut off the look of the door and be lower than kitchen window. I would do some sort of drapery that is on a traverse rod so it is easy to open/close. Lots of people on here suggest grommet panels for sliders but ready made means several panels. I don't like that look. Also depending on the door width you may need a bracket in the middle so sliding grommets is difficult. Plus unless they have a wand you are yanking on the fabric to open/close them.

I would agree with many of these comments. Traversing draperies would be an excellent choice. Use either the same fabric as the roman shade or a coordinating pattern. I would recommend a good quality traverse rod that will allow the drapery to traverse around the center support brackets. Definitely no grommets, they are not easy to slide. Lovely room!
