Friday afternoon, this plant got knocked down onto the hard cement. I thought for sure it wouldn't survive the weekend but it looks like it is going to make it. In fact, I think it has put on some growth and looks stronger... It has some broken leaves but the growing tip is still intact.

I'm a bit confused. You call them clones but then call one a volunteer that grew from seeds that dropped. Clones are plants grown from plant cuttings not from seeds. So which are they?

Dave, I pinched off the top of the volunteer and put it in a pot of soil and moved it indoors. I have pinched and potted 6 or 7 generations so far.

I have couple of a volunteers growing in my houseplant pots. When I was cleaning my seeds in the fall, I threw the scraps and ones I didn't think were worth saving onto the houseplants. One is doing quite well! I'll take a cutting here in a couple of weeks and pot it with my seedlings for transplanting in the spring.

ticodxb, there seems to be enough light but they get kinda leggy. Early on the clones took root really fast and did not need much help but as the temp and light went down the new generations seem to need a plastic bag over or they wilt. Here is a pic from this morning. Old industrial building and the window leaks really badly when it rains. My business partner made a brass conduit and bucket to catch the rain so I can water my plants with rainwater. Works out well since the water from the faucet smells like chemicals. This is a south facing window...
