I think black hardware would look good with the black lines.

I like matching the hinges and Faucets. Traditional is fine but updated traditional is better. Go to build.com and scroll away.

I am wavering between chrome or black.

We recently bought knobs and pulls for an entire house. I chose to match the appliances and faucets in kitchens and bathrooms (so brushed stainless or brushed nickel) and matched my door hardware (oil rubbed bronze) in other areas. In our last house I noticed that the brushed nickel finishes on my pulls wore much better over time than the oil rubbed bronze, which looked tarnished after years of high use in the kitchen. Build.com had loads of great choices.

There are lots of ideas out there - here are a few options to consider. Also, if you want to avoid the issue with oil-rubbed bronze that gabeandsky mentioned, you may want to look at something in a vintage bronze, rather than a true oil-rubbed, which is designed to weather and change with time and use.
