Kitchen Faucet Alternatives/Suggestions

Building a new kitchen and wanted feedback from heavy kitchen users on faucet choices.

We currently have a Kohler Forte with a large double basin undermount sink. I use the spray setting 95% of the time and feel it functions well with respect to operating the lever with dirty hands (wrist). The wide spray head & pullout are great for rinsing large items like the cutting board or pots/pans that won't go in dishwasher, good knives, etc...

I do find we get a lot of counter splash but suspect this is the profile of the sink bottom (poor quality) as opposed to the faucet?

We'll be going with a single basin 33" or 36" apron SS sink like Kraus (located centre of island) and need to choose a new faucet.

I've looked and used the semi-pro/commercial style faucets. They look pretty cool but I just don't find they are as fast/functional as the Forte style. Perhaps I would adjust?

Or do I stick with what works and look at similar styles with better quality from Blanco, Grohe, Moen, and Delta.

Any input considerations appreciated.
