My experience is with the LVP from Home Depot (Trafficmaster Allure). We put it in our basement and we are very happy with it. It is 100% water proof. We got the snap together planks which I highly recommend.

I have used both the traffic master allure and shaw versa lock (Home Depot and lowes) we love it. We have dogs ( 165. Lb Great Dane) kids and love the fact it is waterproof and easy to maintain. We used it it two of our homes and like it much better than pergo which we had also. I vacuum every other day and use a steam mop weekly.

My wife and I did a lot of research before buying our luxury vinyl flooring. We finally decided on Lumber Liquidators. It was the best as far as scratch proof and thickness. It is not cheap about 2.00/sf, but that is comparable to other high quality floors of this type. The thickness inhibits any flooring imperfections from showing through and our 3 animals have yet to put a scratch on it. I has been installed for about a year.

Do you remember the thickness? The one we're looking at is 5mm, I'd like to know if that's comparable to what you used.
