Contemporary Bathroom Transformation
This house was stuck in the 1970's. To bring the house up to date, contemporary palette of grays and navy was selected.
Abundant natural light
from the existing skylight was capitalized and the old oak cabinets were replaced with white painted
cabinets. Caesar Stone counters were
installed with modern plumbing fixtures, and new lighting paired with beautiful
silver wallpaper, add both visual interest and luminosity.
On the floors, 12”x 24” tile is
installed on the horizontal, with heating elements under foot to add comfort in
the winter months. A gorgeous free
standing tub replaced the old built-in tub, and stately marble tile was
installed on the walls surrounding the tub.
In the master shower, 4 “x 18”
tiles are used vertically, and a niche was fabricated using marble tile with
chrome accents. The entrance to the shower has a zero clearance entry for easy
access, while the Euro glass enclosure gives the bathroom a high end edge.
