I'm a little lost on the rules on how to paint an open floor plan! We just painted our living room Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams and I love it! However, one of the walls I painted continues into our front entry way, with no natural break thanks to bull nose corners. The new color is behind the entry way table from the pictures.

The entry way extends up into our second floor from the staircase and I see no way of breaking it up so I might as well paint it all the same color. I want to repaint the original beige color anyway, but do I paint it Sea Salt? I'm also interested in Dover White by Sherwin Williams since it's a nice neutral color. I love the farmhouse look so I want nice crisp, cool feel to my house. Ideas? Suggestions?
