Maybe less red would make more pop? Sounds backwards, but maybe less is more.

If you are going for Americana, get art for behind the bed larger scale. There's a lot of Americana art that isn't too expensive (Home Goods, etc.). I don't know what the art is next to the window, but it looks off scale.

I think you should paint the wall behind the bed in a dark grey, or even black ...it will add contrast and the red will pop !

I would get rid of the faith hope love and instead do a bunch of different cool art. Make it eclectic, not too matchy matchy. I'd also agree and switch out the lamp. Everything in this room looks very small leaving tons of space on walls which need to be filled.

Ditch word art.

Get a more substantial nightstand thats more like a chest.

I actually love the bedding and really like alot about this room.

A different bed with a tall headboard would be ideal but if budget won't allow, you could paint a giant harlequin design ceiling to floor (like 3 big diamonds total.) Depends on how "daring" you are. :)
