They appear too modern for the style of the headboard, which is beautiful. You can find another lamp that would look better.

If you read in bed, they could be taller, otherwise I love them. You could set them on three books.

Love the headboard..... I have seen the same lamp a little taller and like them better with your tall headboard. And easier to read by in bed also..

The reading in bed question came to my mind, too, but what do you think of the suggestion sandradclark gave to raise it up on some books? I love that look, too.

Love the headboard! You could do much better with lamps. I think a taller ceramic rectangular lamp would really set off that headboard.

i have mine on some books, (bed got raised, acid reflux, etc etc) as i didnt feel like buying new lamps. its a pain in the patoozle, if you dont 100% own those lamps yet i'd go taller.

Go for a lamp that matches your headboard…I suggest getting
a wooden lamp or anything that has a shade of brown or cream.

I agree with everyone else, the lamp is too short. Also, I would go for something more minimalist, so it doesn't comoete with the headboard. How about a metal work lamp? Ikea has some great affordable options and the height is adjustable too.

BTW, where did you get your headboard? I love it!

When I'm reading in bed I want an overhead light, like a swing light to come over the bed. I have had a light just like that for 30 years and it is basically for decoration not a reading light.
