I found a different sansevieria at Home Depot on Friday. It is the opposite of a Whitney, the borders are solid dark green, and the center has horizontal stripes. It's like a reverse Whitney. I was unfamiliar with this variation. Think I'll plant this and my Whitney in pots which are also opposites of each other. Should make an interesting display. The plant I bought was way way over watered, almost standing in water. The plant looks rather healthy, however it'll take weeks to dry out.
