Depends on the material, colour, pattern and overall design of the space as well as the surface receiving the treatment. Floor, ceiling, backsplash, counter top? Nothing has been mentioned as to "where" this would go.

The floors will most likely be a medium wood floor, as the island cabinets are a dark wood stain & the rest of the kitchen cabinets are an off-white. Now trying to see what we can come up with for the backsplash...
