Is it coming from two places out of the ground?

Those canes at the window sill and to the left of the window, on the wall, look like fortuniana, If so, your grafted rose might have died back and left only the root stock. Fortuniana is widely used as a root stock in Florida. It has a different leaf and is not thorny.

The bloom looks like a Knock Out rose to me. It is thorny. If both are from the same bush, you need to trace the fortuniana canes back to the graft area and remove them. It is best to snatch them off if you can rather than cut them.

You can prune back your bush(es) now. Remove all dead canes and cut the rest back about a third to a half. You can also completely remove a cane or two if that is needed.

Where are you (in general)?

Definitely looks like fortuniana rootstock by the windowsill and against the wall. I second Thonotorose's advice.
