This is a fabulous house! Very intelligent restoration. So glad it didn't end up being blindly painted white and gray all over. I'm swooning over the tile work in the breakfast room, the staircase, and everything else too!

I couldn't quite tell the history of the home's care. Did the physician/wife do a lot of repairs since they purchased it in May or was the house brought back to life by a previous owner?

jewel, I wouldn't say it ever had to be "brought back to life". It's been well cared for the whole time we've lived in this town (20+ years). The owners before this family did a lot of work to restore it though. This couple have continued that work by re-installing rubber flooring in the kitchen. It's a great old home.
