We are considering using Inspire "shake slate" on our roof. I would love to hear from anyone who has used this on their home. I spoke with a real slate installer who has said that he has seen a lot of the hard plastic materials such as Inspire's curl and bend and look really bad after 10 years or so. I realize he may be heavily biased, still I have some reasons I feel he may be trustworthy also.
