We live north of Boston so winter 2015 kept us indoors - to stay busy we took our never used living room and converted into dining room/library. My husband built a 9' bookcase on one wall with cabinets below for storage. I took a library table and use it for my desk, it works very well and my daughter is painting murals of the Hudson valley(where we moved from) and the coastal marshes that are around us here. Much more enjoyable use of space!

Come Spring we changed our driveway that ran along the side of our property to the center so it curved across the front yard. We also had our front walls rebuilt that makes a nicer entrance.

While we had the backhoe here we dared to build our own pond-26x34. I wasn't sure our marriage was going to survive that one, it's not a project for the faint of heart. I never knew you needed soooo many pallets of stone! However, it is gorgeous and I know it's where we will be most of the time.

This winter we are redoing our kitchen a much needed revamp.
