Thank you for your inquiry and interest in our wine cellar project! The glass walls shown in the image were installed by the client's local glass company. The issue with frameless glass is that it is not insulated and frameless glass doors do not provide a tight seal, allowing air to escape from the cellar. This can cause condensation to form on the glass and the system to work harder to maintain the cool temperature in the space.

We prefer to install a series of insulated glass panels/doors to provide the view into the cellar while ensuring a higher R-value and a properly sealed door.
