FM Antenna Wiring

Hello, I'm installing an omni-directional FM antenna on the metal roof of my house. I've been reading information about the best type of coax cable to run. One source says that I should run grounded coax, another says to use quad shield coax. It seems that they don't sell grounded quad shield. Which is a more important feature? The cable will actually not run very far outside. thank you!

For less distance the grounded coax will work best and also you can get it on less price.

As per the matter of the the quad shield coax it can also work fine, but it will be too costly.

For commercial applications the quad core is prefered always.

For the cable run you suggest, I surely would not worry about the cost difference between Quad Shield and single shield... at amazon.com for 100 ft the difference would be in the $25 vs $15 range.

I committed to Quad Shield 20 years ago and have stuck with it since because that's the size crimping tool I bought.

No regrets.
