Do you realise that roses don't come true from seed? So any rose seeds you plant will most likely come out pinkish with five petals? You might get something interesting that is also a good garden plant, but the odds are very against it.

That's not necessarily true Fduk. I am growing open-pollinated seedlings of GUY SAVOY, LYNN ANDERSON, SINGING IN THE RAIN and BROADWAY. Some of them are still tiny plants, but they all show characteristics of their mothers. The two GUY SAVOY plants actually look almost identical to the original, except one has fewer stripes. The one from SITR is an apricot blend that's just not mature enough to show its true bloom yet. One of the BROADWAY plants that survived is a yellow with subtle pink striping. And the LYNN ANDERSON one is a white with pink edges, just like mama, but it's still not mature enough to see the real characteristics yet. You just never know what they will be like. Unless you actually cross-pollinate yourself, the OP seedling will be very similar to the original.
