This piece was ordered last year, we will reach out to the manufacturer for an update on price and timing. Assuming you would like quote to reflect the mitered seams at the top of the desk and nailhead trim throughout?

Sounds like yes to standard size (see above), yes to same mitered top, same standard single drawer (opposite side in Houzz pic), clear glass top (you can do on own but strongly recommend glass, top is sealed several times but glass will add to life span), nail head yes, and as mentioned there are many grasscloth options but sounds like you love one in pic. Manufacturer presently quoting a 16 week turnaround for orders. Should you wish to move forward we will send a memo sample so you can see/touch material. Once questions above are answered we will circle back with quote, thanks!

Yes, so nice to see the sun again! Yes, very helpful thank you, that is all we need to obtain a quote. Will see if we can dig out some close up pics of mitered top, hard to see in pic. Does not impact thickness, just a very clean and linear method used to seam the paper covering the top of the desk, great looking!

Sure the paint color is Van Duesen blue, HC 156 by Ben Moore, the back of the built-ins are papered in a Thibaut grasscloth.

Can you please give me the specifics of the grasscloth? We are using Van Deusen Blue, as well, and were planning to look for matching grasscloth!

We cannot price the desk until we know exactly what you want as every detail is customized to our client's requests. Ballpark price is between 4 to 5,000. The desk is covered in grasscloth, with custom details such as mitred edges and nailhead trim. Several coats of protective layers are applied but we also recommend topping the piece with glass, for increased protection. There are an endless variety of papers and grasscloths that can be selected. We typically sample an assortment of materials and finalize recommendations based upon our clients' likes and the environment in which the desk will be located, details are critically important. Also, natural grasscloth fades so we would not recommend this material in a southern exposure. In normal times we would be looking at about 12 weeks for materials and customization. As the world's supply and manufacturing processes are currently askew, turn around time is unknown, until materials have been selected. We are happy to help long-distance if you like or we can reach out to the manufacturer to see if there is someone in your area who can assist.
