Hello, thank you for your questions.

Our builder used a white plastic trim to tidy up the edges were the tiles met, then we had framed shutters added to the windows.

    Hope this is helpful.

We currently have a master shower/tub combo with a double hung window in the shower. It's great for light and ventilation, but not privacy (even with obscured glass-our neighbors informed us...) Can you give more specifics about the shutter and how it was attached in this window? Is it glass block behind it or a real window? Thank you!

    Hello.

It was a real metal framed window behind with standard plain glass, we tiled all sides of the recess and window sill and then had the full famed shutter inset into the recess exactly. As the shutters were inset into a frame you could open them to gain access to the window behind, alternatively the slats on the shutters could be completely shut giving you the privacy required.

    Hope this helps.
