I think your new paint colour is very pleasing.

Once you hang drapery panels and add décor items (pillows, art, etc.) you will marry the neutral with the light green.

    Add some green décor items:

Love your ottoman! Consider adding a tray with some accent items:

Perhaps straight white curtain panels with the shuttered windows:

Maybe a tall green plant between the end of the sofa and the bookshelves:

I think it's a great starting point and really like the color especially with the wood floors and furniture choices. Other comments are right, accessories will make a big difference. Also really important though is not to forget about some additional lighting. Maybe add some table/reading lamps around the seating because between the floor lamp and the recessed lights the room is reading a little cold. Mix up different styles of lamps for interest and so as to not be too matchy matchy.

Don't even think about window coverings. The windows and shades look great. Yes, lots of pillows with patterns and color will make a big difference. And, you could get an area rug that would stand out and improve on the matchy matchy look. I think a wooden or glass (especially over a new area rug) would look better than the upholstered ottoman. The wall color is beautiful.

Your kitchen looks beautiful. Could you post some photos? My boyfriend is redoing his kitchen and I think a traditional style dark wood cabinet would look great in his house. I love all the beautiful white kitchens I've been seeing but I think they are not for everyone or every home.

Regarding the kitchen- would have gone with a lighter subway tile backsplash if i could do it over

I agree with others - your paint color is lovely.

Your paint looks great! Incorporating a little pink or coral colored accents could look really nice. Perhaps pillows and throws with patterns that include one of these colors. Your place will look a lot like a recent Southern Living magazine cover! !

I totally agree with joemd regarding the need for lamps! Turn off the overhead lighting. Your room will be wonderful with some accessories and fabric window treatments. If you do not plan to remove those window blinds then they should surely be covered or softened with drapery panels or sheers. They are currently a focal point.

Pretty room! Panels and pillows will tie everything together :)

Dress the built-ins, great chance for additional color & style. Your room only needs some accessories to make it sing. I would add some skinny drapery panels to soften up the look. Install clear to the ceiling & down to the floor. Adding plants, books, & art will do it:
