Fully tiled room. Is this too harsh a look for a small bathroom? How practical is it?

This is a lot of tile, and a varying treatment! Love the look, but wonder would I eventually get tired of it?

My test of whether or not you'll feel comfortable with a look after time is to check back and see if you still like it! Small bathrooms can also go full height with the tile. The key is to integrate different textures or colors so it's not boring!
