No just the simple dark tile with matching grout.

I think its totally up to you and what you like since both look equally as good. I would do light personally.

I'd suggest larger ceramic tile rather than glass. The scale of detail on the glass tile is too similar to the engineered stone, so I feel neither of those is the best complement to the other.

Light colored tile with a matching dog would be fab! :P
