Bonded leather? Because it's cheap. Not many want to pay the $700+ that a really well built bar stool commands.

I had top grain leather bar stools and they looked amazing. I paid for the amazing effect too! Fast forward parties with careless guests and then kids....sold at garage sale for a fraction of the original cost. Bonded isn't as stylish but it wipes clean, can be scrubbed somewhat, and you don't cry when someone leaves a grease stain on one.

But beware of bonded leather flaking off of the backing. You would be better off with vinyl.

A lot of our customers ask us about getting leather upholstery on their stools, and I agree, it gets expensive. We suggest our heavy-duty vinyl. While they're not leather, they're really good quality and you can come wipe them off with mild soap and water.
