My favorite is the top right blue

HI -- I love " Amsterdam Blue " by Benjamin Moore Paints --a very classy color .

Stick with white or grey walls and use blue(s) in fabrics and accessories.

gray tends to be un settling so...I picked my favorite color and looked for the gray tone using that color. use fabrics to pull your choice of color around the gray and black...

go for a lighter version of these... they are really too strong to not look like the 70s.

Have you looked at kitchens and dining areas with these bold colors? Wondering if you just did one wall and the rest of the room the same color as the cabinets, as it's a more modern look than any of your colors throughout - could feel 70's, especially when the color is next to the cabinets. It's so personal though; if you like these bold colors any one would work with your floor, etc.

I have white cabinets, leathered black granite/wood countertops, dark hardwood floors and one long wall, the entire length of the dining room and kitchen, in a similar blue you have on the top right. Everyone loves it. It's a bold color to be sure but it's exactly what I wanted. We also have a lot of Windows and a ton of sunlight.
If you want a bold blue, I think it will look great in your kitchen, as described.

I might go for Pure White by Sherwin-Williams like the following pictures.

My kitchen growing up (in the 70's) was the top left. DON'T DO IT! I saw that sample photo Maureen posted in Seahound Ranch and had flashbacks. Use that color as an accent w/ accessories and do a neutral for the walls. Or at best, a significantly lighter shade. Best of luck!

Aaaah blue, blue, blue, blue, blue. do not listen to them, blue is fabulous and i have it on good authority - globe red carpet, that blue is making a come back, so there, thhhppppt. if i have to choose one of these, i go with the one to the right of the piece of wood.

Far right, middle row. @havingfun-you'll be happy to hear than that the new drapes we'll be getting this spring (I hope) are a blue toile pattern (Lenoxdale from country curtains) which will determine what blue we'll paint the living room.

I would go with light gray color for the wall and keep the blue for accessories. Or add one wall in the dinning room as an accent wall in darker blue/gray color. We recently finished a kitchen with slimier colors

I think these would look good. depending on the layout of your area, it may work all round, but may be best as a feature wall. do beware, though; you've put them near to each other, and on an already painted wall. both factors influence the way you see the colours now (ie. in relation to other colours, not just as colours themselves)

Don't use any of those colors in your dining room. Use a neutral on the walls and get your color fix ( if you really love those strong blues) in fabric on the chairs or artwork on the walls. If you want color on the walls, I too would pick something more subdued like that Seasalt picture at the beginning of the list.

All a little too bold and bright. Maybe Add white paint to your favorite color until you get a color you can live with in a large space then have your paint Store match it. Also, test paints the wall first. I've painted way too many walls overpowering colors in the past.

Colors are so personal.. My recommend is consider ur personality and style of ur home..if urs is more urban and trendy then go with a more muted muddy blue..if you're more traditional then stay historic..avoid colors that you think would look great in a playroom or nursery.

I love the far right for maybe an accent wall, but do agree with the light gray and blue accent comments!
