We recently acquired a small home (25 wide x 34 deep) on a small lot with a beautiful river view. For various reasons, we have ruled out going up/out so that we are limited to the existing footprint.

We are attempting to create a floor plan that includes a great room (kitchen, dining and living room and entrance) across the front to take advantage of the views, The dimensions for this space are about 25 x 16.

Located at the back of the house would be the master bedroom ensuite, a den that could accommodate a daybed or a murphy bed and provide an access (garden door) to a back deck, a powder room and laundry space. This area would be 26 x 18.

Also, we need as much closet space as possible. Thanks in advance for your input.
