I am buying a two year old home which has open plan with kitchen, dining and great room all together in one large rectangular space. Family room does not have a fireplace and without too much breakdown and making chimney I like the idea of electric fire place which adds a focal point, some warmth and coziness to a place. The picture shown is lovely. Want to know if and how it can be done, rough cost estimate and how can I have it done before moving in . Would appreciate a response. Thanks.
