Install new sprinkler zone on aerator tank question

I am sure this has been posted before, but I cannot find the "search function". Please forgive me if it has been posted.

I want to add an additional sprinkler zone to a septic aerator tank. It already has a few heads on "automatic". They spray when the tank gets full. Question# 1- Is the pump set up on a float to turn on and off? I would like to put a small zone in another area of the yard that runs off the aerator tank. I know about sprinklers and wiring and such, but I have NEVER messed with an aerator tank before. So Question# 2- How do I wire the new zones' valve to get the pump to turn on and shut off the original zone, all at the same time? Or is this even possible?
