Your ideabook shows several gray/silver combinations in bedrooms. This room could be spectacular. Consider changing the lighting first thing because the current fixture makes truly distracting patterns everywhere that will overwhelm any new decor.

I agree with Patricia, a huge bed between those windows would look exquisite. Love er612's design. Some info about your personal style would be helpful to selection decor.

BTW - I love your ceiling light and see no reason to change it. I was referring to the table lamps, curtains and rug in my mock up.

I find when decorating that once I choose the major art for a room, everything else follows quite naturally and with less effort. I personally favor simple carpets in soft colors and patterns that make the room seem more spacious. Then I indulge my need for pattern and interest on the walls. Good luck with your project!

I completely agree that a very large bed would be perfect. A king sized poster bed without a lot of lathe work ( Relatively simple blocky posts in black or espresso) would be awesome. Large bedside tables would work nicely. You also have scads of room for a lovely seating area as well. Good luck! Your room is exquisite an has endless possibilities!!!!

I can only help with the lighting. In a bedroom (as well as living room) a ceiling light does no one any favors. I much prefer a table lamp or wall sconce in each corner at chest height.
