Corner frig

Can you provide the space requirements on placing a frig in the corner? I have a 36" SubZero. That looks like what is in this photo. Thank you for any information you can provide!

I normally wouldn't have done that because I like to keep refrigerator cabinetry, oven cabinetry and the like at the ends of counter top runs but in this case it doesn't look too bad. The exact model of SubZero is needed because they have three lines with three different requirements - see the Design Guide: http://www.subzero-wolf.com/~/media/files/united%20states/product%20downloads/sub-zero%20wolf/design%20guides/subzero%20design%20guide.pdf

Thank you for your prompt reply. Just looking at ideas for our remodel. I want to make the most of an existing corner without any wasted or dead space I hate me corner last Susan cabinets. I have the big SubZero 36" frig and 36" freezer. But we will be getting all new appliances. Just an interesting look. Thanks again for getting back to me so quickly!

The corner refrigerator does take additional design engineering for it to work properly in the layout we designed in the photo. The refrigerator is centrally located between the two defined sink work spaces. For this design to work, you will need additional space right & left for clearance considerations. In this instance, we provided 1-1/2" on either side for the refrigerator to slide into.

Hope this helps with your planning.

    Cheers!

    John
