I had a borage plant a few years ago that someone sent me as a bonus in an on-line trade. It did quite well in spring and early summer and even flowered. It died towards the end of summer and didn't reseed.

I have now ordered the seeds and they are en route! Also lovage seeds. The area I plan to put the plants was overgrown by a grass last year; next week I plan to mulch it heavily in an effort to smother the grass (after I cultivate it with a Garden Weasel). After the plants are good size I will transplant them into the raised bed.
