Beveled rather than flat?

Flat matches your counter tops and it looks like it would fit in the most. That herrinbone pattern is to die for as well. Color would go perfect with your floor.

So should I maybe do straight flat and this behind my stove for hood or do herringbone in this area

We have very similar colors in our kitchen...dark cabinets and possibly the same floors. I’m super curious as to what you decided on for the backsplash. I’m undecided as to white or off white beveled subway tile. I’d love to see your pics!
