I would like a random plank floor but it seems most are a dark hickory. Maple has one but I a did notice that it turn very yellow looking when put down instead of a light brown.

I have traditional /country furniture. Kitchen is all white. Walls of home are latte with white trim throughout

My room does not get a lot of natural light
So hickory maybe too dark???
